The moment I started to write, that’s where my imagination ran wild.
I would create stories about my typical, boring, predominantly caucasean high school and pretend it was some teen drama. How boring is life without a little disruption.
That’s when I turned to love TV shows; especially reality TV because it was the truth being portrayed in a more dramatic and entertaining way, The Real Housewives of New York City anyone?... Don’t judge me until you watch it.
Thus my journey led me to a degree in communications where to be honest I didn’t know what I wanted but I knew that I’m a creative thinker, so something would have to click, right?
Yay! It’s March 2020 and I just finished my degree! Now it’s time to take on the job world and find my new career! NOT… Covid-19 just made it’s creepy little way to Israel and the whole country shuts down. So what do I do? I started to write. Yep I went back to journaling to try and come up with a back up plan.
I was then approached by a family member who was an entrepreneur. He asked if he could pay me to write the copy for his company website in English. I say hell yes! But in order for him to pay me I need to start a small freelance business and actually be legal. Oh yeah, that makes sense. That’s when I got the idea to start freelancing and write copy and content for other business that needed a native English writer!
